Shahrukh Khan's film Pathan has hit the theaters today, Wednesday and with the release, the film has earned huge money on the opening day itself.
Recent reports had revealed that the film has crossed the 50 crore mark in advance bookings for the opening weekend itself.
Despite appeals from the makers of Pathaan and the cast, including Shah Rukh Khan, to watch the film in theaters and not indulge in piracy, Pathan has been leaked online.
The film has been uploaded on many piracy websites in cam or DVD rip format. Pathaan movie has been uploaded on some piracy websites like Filmyzilla, Filmy4wap and Tamilrockers.
Gadgets 360 found that the film is listed on Filmyzilla in DVDRip format, while Times Now reports that it is available on Filmyzilla in CamRip format.
Recently, producer Yash Raj Films urged fans to watch the film in theaters and also warned them against leaked footage recorded from the big screen.
YRF tweeted, (translated) 'Ready for the biggest action drama? It is a humble request to all to refrain from recording any videos, sharing them online and giving spoilers of any kind. Experience 'Pathan' only in theatres'.
On the other hand, the film's star character Shahrukh Khan also requested the fans to watch Pathan in theatres. Apart from this, some other celebrities have also requested the fans through their Twitter handles to avoid piracy and watch the film in theatres.
